Red Hot & Cole - Nunsense
Red Hot and Cole
The Synopsis
The music and lyrics of Cole Porter have been entertaining and engaging the populace for nearly a century and his legacy is as fresh and relevant today as it was when audiences heard the tunes for the first time. Porter was a man whose own life was as complex and intriguing as any Broadway or Hollywood musical. In fact, Hollywood has made two attempts to tell his tale – once, even truthfully. Red Hot and Cole is a stylised reminiscence of his life and times, “told” by the people who lived alongside him in an age when the glitterati were brilliant and sharp-witted.
